ChildPulse collects only what is necessary to keep kids safe with GPS tracking, help parents focus, and build healthier digital habits—never for ads, tracking, or resale of location data.

Data we collect

  • Account & family setup: parent email, family name, member names/ages (optional), device identifiers.
  • Location data: GPS coordinates, location history, and geofence events (only when enabled via MDM or Android).
  • Usage signals: screen time totals, domain/app names, focus session events, alerts, and rule triggers.
  • Preferences: theme, notification settings, schedules, and rules you configure.
  • Support: information you share when you contact us for help.

How we use it

  • Deliver child safety features including GPS tracking, geofencing, and location-based alerts.
  • Provide protection, focus tools, and AI-powered wellbeing insights across devices.
  • Sync rules and location data across devices to keep dashboards up to date.
  • Detect risky activity patterns and send alerts you configure.
  • Improve reliability and security; never for advertising or location data resale.

Your controls

  • Export and delete: request exports or deletion of your family data at any time.
  • Retention: we keep data only as long as needed to provide the service; you can ask us to shorten retention.
  • Consent: parents/guardians manage consent for child data and can disable data collection on a device.
  • Cookies: limited to essential, preference, and analytics-only (no ads).

Retention & storage

We retain data (including location history) only as long as needed to deliver protection, sync, and insights. You can request shorter retention or deletion of all data including GPS history anytime. Data is stored in secure cloud regions with encryption and redundancy.

Security practices

  • End-to-end encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for all data including GPS coordinates.
  • Location data stored separately with enhanced access controls and audit logging.
  • Least-privilege access controls with comprehensive audit logging.
  • Isolated environments for production data with geographic redundancy.
  • Regular dependency and infrastructure patching.

We continuously improve our security posture and will notify you promptly of any material issues as required by law.
